Payments. Fifteen shipped. Any new, in hours.
BridgerPay, Praxis, Mercado Pago, PayRetailers live today. Three hundred local methods across nine countries of regional coverage. The gateway you already use is already plugged in.
Payment integration is where broker platforms usually lose the deal. The platform supports three providers; the broker has a contract with a fourth; the sales call ends with "we'll have it next quarter." Slate's payment layer was built so the sales call never ends that way. Fifteen providers are shipped. The broker's existing relationships are preserved. New providers take hours of adapter work — not quarters of engineering.
The providers you already use
BridgerPay. Praxis. Mercado Pago. PayRetailers. All live today.
Every major payment orchestration platform a broker is likely to be running is already live in Slate. You plug in the provider key you already have, and the router knows to use it. Configuration is per-broker, per-country, per-currency. No forced switch, no vendor replatforming, no migration project. Every relationship you've earned over the years survives intact.
The coverage you haven't priced yet
Three hundred local payment methods across nine countries — via PayRetailers, in a single integration.
A broker with only BridgerPay on day one can turn on PayRetailers and immediately serve PIX and Boleto for Brazilian traders, OXXO and SPEI for the Mexico funnel, cash vouchers for Argentina, and local bank transfers in every country where banks lag cards. The operational lift is zero: enable the provider, enable the method, route by country. The broker founder who walked in with two gateways walks out with fifteen.
What happens when a deposit goes wrong
Chargebacks freeze atomically. Webhook retries are idempotent. Reconciliation is a report.
Every credit posts through an ACID stored procedure. Every chargeback reverses the same way — debit, freeze, audit log, compliance notification, all atomic. Webhook retries are idempotent across three layers so a duplicate delivery never causes a duplicate credit. Failed webhooks reconcile automatically against the provider's ledger. Negative balance protection is enforced at the trading engine, not the payment layer, so no client ever ends a session owing money they don't have.
The provider we haven't added yet
Any new gateway, live in hours — not weeks.
The integration layer is a set of interfaces, not a hardcoded short list. A new payment provider is a configuration exercise plus an adapter that takes hours to write and deploy. A regional crypto on-ramp. A newly-launched local e-wallet. A banking rail in a country where cards don't work. The answer is always yes, and the timeline is always hours. This is the same pattern that applies to KYC, messaging, and every other integration category in the platform.
